Aging and Disabilities Resource Consortium (ADRC)
The Aging and Disability Resource Consortium (ADRC) is a resource for any elder who is at least 60 years of age, or any person over the age of 14 who is living with a disability and lives within any of the 23 cities and towns that make up the Merrimack Valley. The ADRC is also a resource for family members and caregivers. The Aging & Disability Resource Consortium combines the natural strengths of two agencies, Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley, Inc. and Northeast Independent Living Program. This collaboration creates a “no wrong door” entry point for people with disabilities and elders who are seeking services, and a community source for information and advocacy on issues related to aging and living with disability. This represents a new model for long-term services which provides maximum opportunity to reach consumers and address their mutual needs with a collaborative approach.
