Letter from Rosanne DiStefano,
Executive Director
Welcome to Elder Services of the
Merrimack Valley!
Your local Age Information Center
Welcome to Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley, we hope your experience with us is a positive one. I’ve been with the agency almost since the very beginning, and have had the opportunity to gain insightful experience by working directly with elders and their families as a case manager before moving into management positions. In 1985 I became Executive Director and am grateful to work with an exceptionally dedicated, skilled, and compassionate staff.
The agency has changed and evolved in many ways over the years. We’ve been very successful at expanding services, increasing funding sources and reaching out to a larger segment of the community. While programs, services, and staff have changed over the last 35 years, our core values remain constant. We are deeply committed to providing choices for older adults that support their desire to remain in the community, maintaining their independence and dignity for as long as possible.
Like many of you, I have personally experienced the caregiver role and know what it means to make important health care and care plan decisions under difficult and emotional circumstances. We want you to know you are not alone in your efforts to provide the best care for your relative. We are here to assist, and make it easier for you and your family.
I want our web site to be helpful, to answer your questions, and provide you with solutions. Our goal is to provide you with a simple understanding of the elder network, inform you of the services offered, and refer you to supportive elder care programs in your community. We are committed to maintaining the highest quality of service delivery.
Calls us at 1-800-892-0890 today or click here to connect with one of our trained specialists to learn more about the programs and services we offer.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Rosanne J. DiStefano
Executive Director
