Our activities and events are designed
to raise funds to support the important programs that keep elders living
safely at home. All net proceeds from annual events and
contributions benefit our Elder Care Fund,
a source of emergency assistance and other services for elders in our
area.
Events Sponsored by Elder Services:
- Annual Meeting
- The
annual meeting of the corporation
for Elder Services is a luncheon, hosted each year in November. The
purpose of the meeting, is to conduct the Agency's business,
recognize achievements made by individuals throughout the Merrimack
Valley, celebrate the longevity of service by staff, and enjoy
remarks by a notable keynote speaker. It is open to the public. For

- Conferences
- Elder Services offers workshops and speakers on a range of age-related
topics throughout the year. Continuing education units (CEUs)
are often available. Visit our

- Golf Tournament
- Held annually in June, the Elder Services Annual
Golf Tournament is held at the Merrimack Valley
Golf Course in Methuen. All proceeds from this event
are for Elder Services Elder Care Fund, a flexible funding
source used when no other financial resource is available
to help an elder. Each year Corporate, Green and
Tee Sponsors, along with 144 Golfers tee off with an
8 a.m. shot gun start for a day of fine golf, great
fun, food, raffle and cash prizes.
- Walk/5K Run for Elders
- Held annually, the Walk
For Elders is a great event for the whole family.
You walk either the two or six mile routes that weave
through beautiful, residential North Andover.
We provide prizes, refreshments, and entertainment.
Through pledges, business sponsorship, private donations,
and in-kind gifts, we raise approximately $25,000 annually.
